CM Shri Rupani said that this new approach of border tourism will give an opportunity to observe and enjoy the border for people staying across the nation and state as well. This experiment will give new direction to tourism activity of Gujarat to observe live life-practice of BSF Jawans who serving at border and to observe their patriotism in hard times, he added.
The costal and land border as well is connected with enemy country and if border war happen BSF have to fight directly with enemy forces. This Seema Darshan has begun on the basis of Wagah Border pattern with a view to observe bravery of BSF Jawans. The initiative of the Seema Darshan program will provide atmosphere of patriotism among people, he added. On the occasion, CM Shri Rupani felicitated family members of martyrs.
Only a Wagah border is a border outpost across India-Pakistan borders where both the countries perform drill retreat and people can enjoy observing it. Now on Gujarat has given a new present to the nation ‘Border Tourism’ at this border. He expressed commitment to give a unique place in global tourism map to Suigam along with border tourism, bustard, flamingo, desert safari and white desert.
CM Shri Rupani made an important decision with sensible approach towards children of martyr jawans or permanently physically disabled origin Gujarati jawans from Military, Central or State Para-military Police Force, Central or State Reserve Police Force and jawans from Gujarat Police Force to provide them higher education.
As per his decision, the benefits of Mukhyamantri Yuva Swavlamban Yojna (MYSY) will be given to children of such jawans without considering their percentile or income limits. The children would just have to pass the board exams to receive benefits of MYSY. He said that this government is committed towards soldiers from border, Jawans involved in security of the nation and their family members since I take charge as Chief Minister of Gujarat.
On the occasion, Ministers Shri Ganpatsinh Vasava, Shri Shankarbhai Chaudhari, Shri Dilipkumar Thakor, Shri Atamaram Parmar, Shri Pradeepsinh Jadeja, Mrs. Nirmalaben Vadhvani, Shri Keshaji Chauhan, Parliamentary Secretary Shri Ranchchodbhai Rabari, MLA Shri Parbatbhai Patel, Principal Secretary of Tourism Department Shri S. J. Haider, Commissioner Shri Shrivastava, Inspector General of BSF Shri Ajay Tomar and Higher officials from Tourism, BSF and Security personnel and local people in huge number were remained present.
